Evening Prayer for Patience at the Family Table

Loving Father, as dishes sit in the sink and difficult conversations from this evening still echo in my mind, teach me the patient love of Christ that is not easily angered and does not keep a record of wrongs. Let Your Holy Spirit slow my sharp words, make my home a place where Jesus is honored in how we listen, and help me begin again tomorrow with gentleness that reflects Your heart.
