Prayer for Humility in a Hard Conversation

Heavenly Father, as I walk into the meeting I have been replaying in my mind, keep me from defending my pride more than speaking the truth; let the humility of Jesus shape my tone, my face, and my words. Holy Spirit, make me quick to listen, slow to speak, and willing to confess my own wrong, so that even this uncomfortable moment can bear the character of Christ.
