Gracious God, as I rehearse this difficult conversation on the drive to work and feel my stomach tighten, let the truth of Christ rule my words so I speak with honesty, restraint, and peace. Lord Jesus, keep me from defensiveness or fear, and make my speech seasoned with grace, so even in tension I reflect Your kingdom.
