Prayer for Christ’s Peace at the Dinner Table

Prince of Peace, meet us tonight in the tight silence after a long workday, in the bills on the counter, and in the words we are afraid to say. Lord Jesus, rule our home with Your cross-shaped peace; teach us to answer one another with gentleness, to confess what is true, and to let Your gospel mend what stress and resentment have strained.
