Prayer for Forgiveness After a Harsh Conversation

Merciful Savior, after the sharp words I spoke today, do not let my pride harden around my sin; bring me to honest repentance before Your cross, where Jesus paid for even the damage my tongue can do. Give me grace to confess plainly, seek forgiveness without excuses, and let the Holy Spirit remake my speech so that what I say at home, at work, and online reflects the holiness of Christ.
