Prayer for Humility in a Hard Conversation

Merciful Savior, as I walk into this difficult meeting and feel the urge to defend myself, let the mind of Christ rule my words so I am quick to listen, slow to speak, and free from pride. Crucify my need to be right, Lord Jesus, and teach me to honor You by speaking truth with gentleness and receiving correction without resentment.
