Merciful Savior, as I replay the sharp words, missed deadlines, and hidden irritations of this day, have mercy on me for the ways I have sinned in thought, word, and deed. Wash me again in the grace Jesus purchased at the cross, and teach me tonight to rest not in my performance, but in Your forgiveness that is new every morning.
