Evening Prayer for Forgiveness in Family Life

Gracious God, as I lay my head down tonight, I confess the ways I have failed to love my family like Jesus does—through harsh words or impatience. Wash me clean by Your mercy, soften my heart, and let Your Spirit guide me to forgive and seek forgiveness, so that my home reflects the grace of Your cross.
