Prayer for Forgiveness and New Mercies

Merciful Savior, in the quietness of this evening, I bring before You the burdens of my shortcomings and the imperfections of my heart. As I confess, I cling to the promise that Your mercies are new every morning, trusting in Your forgiveness to renew my spirit and set me free to walk in newness of life tomorrow.
